Brolee
Well we weren't exactly looking for a 2nd dog but with Jeremy making regular trips to Aiken with work, I kept an eye on the Aiken County Animal shelter and came across this guy.. Brolee had been kept in a crate for his entire life before being confiscated. The crate was for a dog the size of a cocker spaniel... which he is not.. Despite the obvious abuse/neglect this guy went through he is a LOVE. He goes by Brolee, marshmallow head..He's the dog that I didn't know I needed but someone knew.. He takes care of me like Foster used to, always keeping an eye out and knows when I'm down, he comes over to wherever I am and basically ends up in my lap. After being here for a couple of months he has a real tail wag now and has found his voice.. He recently even had his first case of the zoomies! I've never had anything against pitbulls but was always a golden retirever or doberman person but this guy right here.. I'm pretty sure someone up above had a paw in sending him here because some of the odd little things he does were exactly things Foster used to do.. Never thought I'd have a second heart dog in my lifetime but Brolee is it for sure.. Thank you Friends of the Animal Shelter Aiken for letting us adopt this sweet squishmellow...
