Brolee

November 2023:Well we weren't exactly looking for a 2nd dog but with Jeremy making regular trips to Aiken with work, I kept an eye on the Aiken County Animal shelter and came across this guy.. Brolee had been kept in a crate for his entire life before being confiscated. The crate was for a dog the size of a cocker spaniel... which he is not.. Despite the obvious abuse/neglect this guy went through he is a LOVE. He goes by Brolee, marshmallow head..He's the dog that I didn't know I needed but someone knew.. He takes care of me like Foster used to, always keeping an eye out and knows when I'm down, he comes over to wherever I am and basically ends up in my lap. After being here for a couple of months he has a real tail wag now and has found his voice.. He recently even had his first case of the zoomies! I've never had anything against pitbulls but was always a golden retirever or doberman person but this guy right here.. I'm pretty sure someone up above had a paw in sending him here because some of the odd little things he does were exactly things Foster used to do... Thank you Friends of the Animal Shelter Aiken for letting us adopt this sweet squishmellow... Sadly, we lost Brolee 5/10/25 there is a huge hole in our hearts and he will be greatly misssed.
