3/2025 Received the message that you never want to, Skeeter passed away unexpectedly. She will be missed very much by her family. Her legacy will live on through her babies..

UPDATE! Skeeter has been sold! She will be leaving with her new family 4/20/2018 to live in Wisconsin!  Congrats!!!

Mae's American Phoenix  GV03230 is named in honor of my dear friend Michelle. She is one of the most inspiring people that I have ever been blessed to have in my life. She is also the person that
re-introduced me to this wonderful breed. Through faced with all sorts of adversities, she ALWAYS cowgirls up! Getting back in the saddle
figuratively and literally, and pushing forward. No minute is ever
wasted in the saddle or in the positive things in life! She is also
one of the most Patriotic people I have ever met and truly loves our
wonderful country. Mae is Anglo Saxon meaning "Kinswoman" and is also part of her name, American is for her patriotism, and Phoenix
represents her always rising from the ashes per say and pushing
forward. I wish everyone in their lifetime could be blessed to even
just have met such a kindhearted and strong person that Michelle is.

"Skeeter"  out of JHF Hudsons Lottery Boy ( A
Direct son of the Lottery Horse!) and GLG Miss Golden Ticket. Skeeter  is looking to turn out to be a smoky black with 1 stocking, 1 little sock and super neat white markings on her
other legs.. She is a super sweet filly and handled the 16 hour road
trip home like a champ. A big thank you to Tina Sutton for the chance
to own this beautiful baby..Skeeter has been PSSM1 tested and she is n/n
2017 - Well Miss Skeeter has a great memory! After having some time off to foal, I decided it's time for her to get back to work. Skeeter was very lightly backed  in 2016 ( 3 very short rides total in the ring) and 2/19/2017 I decided to test her memory by hopping on! She was fantastic..a good walk trot ride in the round pen.. so far a few more rides in and she is doing very well!  Skeeter and Nicole attended the 1st NHHSET district meet of the season and did very well in the In Hand division! They placed 1st in Showmanship, Suitability, Trail, Obstacle and Freestyle! Great job! JULY 2017.. CONFIRMED  Skeeter is in foal! (She was bred to Patriot in hopes that they will produce another amazing representation of the breed next year ! Late may/Early June due date!   As of 10/2017 Skeeter now has approx 30 rides under saddle (walk trot).. with 1 ride including a few canter strides!

2016: Skeeter has been confirmed in foal to our 1 and only Patriot.. Due mid July 2016 This baby should be a nice representative of the breed for how it was originally meant to be.. I do not color test my horses as I like it to be a surprise kind of like this breeding was! I was not intending on breeding Skeeter until Spring 2017, however she and Patriot had other plans... I would have preferred that Skeeter be further undersaddle before being bred.. She was used for the NHHSET high school equestrian team that I coach for a rank beginner and was used in the halter/in hand classes!

2015 - Time to get to work! Skeeter has been working on ground training since day 1 and also is used to wearing a simple harness as well as other tack for desensitizing.. Anyone that knows me knows that I do whatever I can to expose my horses young and old to anything and everything possible.. We may do a couple dressage shows here and there and she will be going to the gymkhanas at Lakes Region Riding academy either to hang out or possibly do a few patterns walk trot just for fun and extra exposure once she is ready for some light saddle time.. She'll be ready for next year to hit the show scene for sure! She was ponied on trails,
2015 Awards:  Gypsy Horse Registry of America Champion Mare A Trail...!!

2014 Awards and Activities: Skeeter competed in halter classes at Oak Rise farm 9 Day end Championship and Reserve Championship awards) as well as attended cowboy mounted shooting practice, was ponied on a few short trail rides, started ground driving a bit, extensive ground work as well as went visiting to Hampton Beach and Lakes Region Riding Academy!
