SPF Sables Iron Maiden aka Sable is a 2016 black filly out of Sonny's Pride ( The Moulden Stallion Sonny x The Good Mare Nancy) and Constellation (The Wooley Mammoth x Tiger Lily) She made the journey here all the way from Idaho! She is coming around very quickly and starting to realize that people are not so scary! I am happy to report she is also Pssm1 n/n.. Sable was named by a dear friend of mine Ellie. Skeeter & Patriot's 2016 Filly Hope (Now Phoenix at her new home) was named in honor of Ellie who is an amazing young lady. She never gives up.. Sable spent several months with a dear friend and trainer of mine Fern Grenier and he did some beautiful work with her so when she came home she took to saddle work like a champ. Sable is currently out on lease with the Obert family until 2022. I'm very excited for the future with this filly!
2020 Update! Sable has been with the Obert family for the year and is becoming quite the riding pony! She went to the big show in Skowhegan and showed both in hand and the walk trot classes from the pictures and videos I am VERY proud of them and her too! She is being bred to Nautilus Morning Thunder from Wool & Withers Farm in Littleton MA for a 2022 foal for the Oberts, I am super excited what this pairing produces!!
