A little about farm owner and operator Teri Young...
I've been riding since the age of 9 ( so it's been a few years!) I
mainly rode hunter jumper and dressage growing up however my retired Manchester
Police horse "Shorty" got me involved in gymkhana! We as a team were
fortunate enough to be world qualifiers for NBHA for 3 years prior to
his passing. Another mare I had "Raven" and I also qualified for
World's the last year that Shorty did. I have ridden at some lovely
barns and with some great people over the years and have learned lots
from all and never stop learning! To this day I still take lessons
especially with any of my young horses. I take pride in my young
horses in the fact that they grow up to be truly "all around" horses..
They may have a favorite event which we may make our main focus but
they try everything! I train especially in groundwork following mostly
natural horsemanship techniques. I believe that dressage is a
wonderful base for any horse to have even if they do not go on to
compete in the discipline. All of my horses are not in the ring 7 days
a week either! we hit the trails, go to the beach and many other fun
things! From dressage to driving, gymkhana, Cowboy Mounted shooting,
team penning, and jumping to parades and swimming in the ocean, we at
least try a little bit of everything! The horses have taken a little bit of a step back from full time showing since Lillie arrived but that's ok they deserve a bit of a break..We still have been attending a few shows..
My memberships include(past and present) : NBHA, AQHA, UHC (Unwanted Horse Coalition), APHA, American Saddlebred Association, NRA,
D.U., Belgian Draft corp., PtHA, NH Dressage & Eventing Association, NH Cowboy Mounted Shooters and Gypsy Horse
Registry of America, and The Gypsy Vanner Society, BNI Capital Express, New England Gypsy horse club ( Current sitting secretary), to name a few.

Also an update I am sad to announce the passing of my Dad Charles K. Young -05/17/1948- 05/14/2015.. I'm so very blessed to have had him as my Father and thankful that he was able to be there when Lillie was born! We spent the last few days he was in the hospital right by his side and am so grateful that he was able to get to know his only grandchild before he was called home.. Rest in Peace Dad We will see you someday!
