SOLD "Hope" Foaled 07/19/2016 GHRA registration pending Gypsy filly out of Maes American Phoenix (aka Skeeter) (JHF Hudsons Lottery Boy x GLG Miss Golden Ticket), and Green Mountain Patriot( Connors Malachi x My Sweet Teagan). Hope is already a super sweet little girl and has been handled from the very beginning. I expect her to finish out in the 14.1-14.2 range like her parents and maintain the classic cob build as well as ample hair.. Please excuse Skeeter & Patriot's growing back feather, manes & tails as they both were able to find the 1 patch of burdocks on the property late fall so I ended up having to do quite a bit of clipping which broke my heart.. I have chosen to pick the name SPF ( For Shady Pines Farm) Ellies Flame of Hope for Hope's registered name ( pending) in honor of one of the most inspiring, courageous, super sweet, most positive young ladies I have ever met , Ellie. Ellie deals on a daily basis with CRPS ( please see http://www.rsdhope.org/crps.html for more information..) not only does she "deal" she THRIVES! She and her amazing gelding Cherokee are an amazing team to watch no mater what they are doing be it running barrels, pole bending, or just simple groundwork. There are days that the pain from the CRPS makes it very hard for Ellie to even walk but yet she always "cowgirls up" takes on each and every day. She always has a smile on her face and it is contagious! The "Flame" is from the CRPS awareness ribbon and Hope is the hope for a cure someday for this horrible syndrome. I am so very blessed to have Ellie and her family as part of my and Lillie's Chosen family..
